At WE COLLECT CLOTHES LIMITED, we aid charities to export excess clothes from the UK to countries where they’re wanted and will be re-used. This avoids filling up landfill sites. Our FAQs
▸ What do I put the unwanted clothes in?
Everything from black plastic bin baggage to containers and suitcases. It doesn’t really matter as long as our driver can get it to the van.
▸ Is there a limit of clothes I can provide?
There may be no restriction as long as the items meet our needs. All clothing should be in excellent re-usable condition, and shoes should be paired.
▸ My bag hasn’t been accrued yet, what need to I do?
Please contact us via text message or email so that we can understand and set up another collection for you.
▸ Are you a registered charity?
We are not a charity, but we collaborate closely with a few select charities.
▸ Do the clothes want to be washed?
It facilitates if the clothes are washed however it isn’t always a requirement.
▸ What are the minimum variety of bags to book an appointment?
At least two large bin bags of clothing are required. If you don’t have enough, it might be worth asking relatives, friends, or co-workers if they want to pitch in as well.
▸ When are the collections?
Collections are typically made between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. If the driver is running late after 5 p.m.
▸ When will you be able to finish my collection?
We will make every effort to complete your collection as soon as possible. Depending on demand in your area, this can range from the next day to about four working days.
